Introducing the 12622 FEC 10-Ho Scale Gondola from MTH Electric Trains, an exquisite addition to any HO scale model railroad layout. This gondola is meticulously crafted to replicate the authentic Freight Car America (FCA) design, which was widely used by the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines (PRSL) and the Baltimore & Ohio Chessie System (CHES) in real life.
Measuring 33 inches in length, this gondola boasts impressive details, both interior and exterior. The body is constructed of die-cast metal, ensuring durability and stability on the tracks. The metal sides are etched with intricate rivet details, authentic FEC reporting markings, and accurate paint schemes. The ends of the gondola feature realistic brake platforms with operating hand brakes and accurate coupler cut levers. The underframe is equipped with realistic suspension and metal draft gear.
The gondola's interior is equally impressive, featuring detailed planking, rivet head details, and a floor with realistic steel cross beams and cleats. The gondola is designed to carry a variety of loads, including coal, ore, and other bulk materials. The loading hatches are accurately positioned and can be opened, allowing you to add your own custom load.
The gondola comes with operating couplers, allowing it to easily connect to other trains in your fleet. The couplers feature realistic hoses, pipes, and air reservoirs, adding to the overall authenticity of the model.
In operation, this gondola rolls smoothly and quietly, thanks to its powerful motor and precision machined wheels. The wheels are equipped with RP-25 contoured tread, which provides excellent traction and reduces the risk of derailment.
This HO scale FEC gondola is not only a beautiful and accurate model but also a functional addition to your railroad layout. It is perfect for modelers who want to add authenticity and realism to their freight trains and is sure to impress even the most discerning railfan.

I m not too sure if they go with this, but figured Include it here. Please message me for any questions or concerns. Ho scale gondola cars appear to be in great condition with many of them needing fully assembled. There is also a bag of small parts that I found with these gondola cars.
Many of them are missing wheels. It seems that the wheels are installed on a few of cars might be slightly different size as they don't turn well.
