Unfortunately he died 6 months later and I ended up with the train. From age and sitting I observed that the drive bands were cracking with age so I replaced them. I have checked the train thoroughly an tested it and it runs great.

The engine is 207 of 212 with a brass plaque on the bottom of the engine displaying the production number on it. Original retail of this train Weaver gold edition this is an engine of brass construction. This gentleman only displayed the trains and never had a layout or operated them.

Box does show wear from moving it around and opening it.
