Metal sides ,roof and ends over a wood en core. Has metal details, metal die cast insulated trucks and jade couplets. Looks solid and well built. Good condition printed sides and lettering.

A great runner for a 2 rail o scale layout or a nice addition to a southern pacific or early o scale collection. This is a vintage merle faber boxcar,similar to the Athene metal cars but much less common, with a two piece roof like Limbaugh used.
