Review WYANDOTTE Hafner Red Lithographed Caboose Repainted Tender
It is car #41021 and lettered in white for Hafner Trains but also has a Wyandotte Toys circular logo. Anyway, the cars are complete, with correct wheels and couplets all original. Tender has metal wheels while the caboose plastic. Then there is a black tender with silver frame which has obviously been repainted in the past you can see brush marks some of pictures ; name HAFNER stamped into its sides.
Here is a very presentable example of one the Hafner / Wyandotte both names appear on car 5 1/2 inch tin red caboose. Hafner was bought by Wyandotte, and they continued to produce some of the same exact trains, so I am unsure how exactly you tell difference. Decent shape but do have signs of play wear and age. Photos show the cars from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in shots for size reference.
Priced to sell, with only actual USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail shipping charged the winner.
