At least I think its been modified by the previous owner. I aim to please!!: SHIPPING HANDLING FOR US buyers. I see some small brown wood en blocks attached to the bottom as well. On all 4 corners the little step ladder piece on bottom edge trim has been removed, inside is some type of small circuit board with a holder for single AA battery and toggle switch train car as well.

I installed a battery and flipped the switch didn't see it doing anything.
