Fox Valley model's #FVM 81904 N Canstock 50 Box Car B O #480862 MIB. As built, the cars had a fiberglass roof panel installed on end opposite door to allow some light in car. This design allowed a more efficient use of space in the car and brought load weight closer to capacity. The unique B O Canstock car was designed to improve the loading and transport of coiled steel used make cans.

Car is equipped with knuckle couplets and FVM metal wheels. C-10 FACTORY BRAND NEW in original jewel case. With the doors being offset, forklift could load last two coils by driving straight in/out of door opening making capacity 8 instead 6. Regular boxcars with the door in could only load 6 coils without getting forklift stuck inside.

While built for an Eastern road, these cars could be found all over the US wherever a cannery was nearby.
